Iowa DNR Logo, Earth Day Celebrate Earth Week by Volunteering!

The Earth's environment is precious. Earth Week is a great opportunity for volunteers to come together to help create an awareness and appreciation for our environment.

Your help is needed... volunteer now!

Waste Sorts:
Assist DNR staff with sorting through garbage and recyclable materials collected from each office location. This process will help to identify the recycling habits of each office location and will allow for additional educational opportunities that will likely help reduce the amount of waste that is being sent to a landfill. Please dress appropriately as this will be a "dirty job". Also, please wear comfortable footwear as this project requires standing.
